This is what you can expect
As the Financial Controller, you will report to the Head of Finance and Controlling of Surplex, and you will support her in a vital role managing accounting, financial reporting and compliance across Surplex’s Continental Europe Region operations. This position requires a good experienced accountant with strong financial technical skills, preferable with experience in managing a small team. If you have worked for a Big 4 accounting firm you have a pre (If not, please don’t hesitate to apply anyway).
You will need to ensure compliance with group accounting and reporting principles, as well as local GAAP for statutory reporting purposes.
As a PE-backed, rapidly growing international technology platform, TBAuctions encourages a growth mindset among its employees. This next phase of growth will provide valuable learning experiences and necessitate further professionalization of our backend processes. You will play a significant role in this phase, requiring a thorough, qualitative, and collaborative approach.
What will happen next
Once your application is received, it will be reviewed by a team consisting of the responsible recruiter Alex and the hiring managers to assess its alignment with our job requirements.
If we reach a positive decision regarding your application, we will invite you to a (video) interview, during which you will get an overview of Surplex and the position. This will be followed by a second online interview with an international panel.
In the final step, you will visit our office, receive a short tour, and sign your employment contract.
