Your tasks will include
• Service & Incident Management: 1st & 2nd Level Support
• User Support: Assist and resolve user inquiries efficiently
• Workstation Setup and Maintenance: Install, maintain, and repair client workstations
• Network Maintenance: Monitor, maintain, and support the local network and related technology in Germany
• Troubleshooting: Conduct error analysis, diagnosis, and resolution across the described areas
• Office Automation Projects: Work on automation initiatives to improve efficiency and support company growth
That’s what we are expecting of you
• Completed training as an IT Specialist (System Integration) or show equivalent proven skills and experience
• 1-3 years of experience in user and 1st level support
• Familiarity with hybrid directory service environments
• Expertise in network technology and communication
• Proven ability to manage and maintain server and network structures
• Knowledge of Microsoft 365 environment administration
• Proficiency in German and English (written and spoken)
• Independent, systematic working style with a high level of initiative
• Strong problem-solving skills and a goal-oriented approach
• Excellent communication skills
• A sense of responsibility and the ability to make informed decisions
Get to know your team
The IT Support team ensures that our colleagues across the group can work safely and efficiently. In this role, you’ll primarily handle incoming tickets for the Surplex brand and provide exceptional support to users across our international offices. Based on your skills and interests, you’ll also contribute to office automation projects, helping the company keep up with fast growth and rapid technology changes.
What will happen next
Once we receive your application, it will be thoroughly reviewed by a team consisting of the responsible HR representative and the hiring managers to assess how well it fits our requirements.
If your application results in a positive evaluation, we will invite you to a first video interview as the next step. Followed by another Meetup in person, in our Düsseldorf Office.
We always want to meet our future employees in person. In the second step, you'll have the chance to meet not only the Head of IT but also a Product Owner, a Developer, and someone from HR.
In some cases, there is the option of a trial day before you and we make a final decision. This will be decided on a case-by-case basis.
