Your tasks will include
  • you are responsible for the development of a sales process from the beginning to the end, starting with the acquisition of new projects, ending when the final machine has left the premises.
  • you establish initial contacts with potential sellers as part of the acquisition process.
  • you create a sales catalogue, e.g., you prepare technical descriptions and take photos of each asset.
  • in cooperation with our support team in Germany, you upload all the data to our IT system.
  • you are in contact with sellers from the UK as well as with buyers from all over the world interested in any of the assets.
  • you coordinate the onsite team in charge of dismantling, preparing, and loading each asset.
  • you follow up payments from our buyers as well as removal activities onsite.
  • you work closely with our post-sales department in Germany.
That’s what we are expecting of you
  • you have first working experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • a technical degree such as mechanical engineering is a plus.
  • experience in manufacturing planning or machinery maintenance is a plus.
  • knowledge of international trade rules, and related paperwork is a plus.
  • you have very good communication skills and are a true networker.
  • you are eager to learn new things, develop yourself and pave the way for your success in this role.
  • business fluent English skills are a must have, any additional language skills would be an advantage.
  • you would describe yourself as highly motivated and organised.
  • after an onboarding phase which you use to build a network, you are willing to travel all around the UK - this position normally requires 50% of the week at our local office, and 50% travelling.
